RLTC DonationS Program
gorgeous vistas. clean mountain air. peace.
The Rangeley Lakes Trail Center has remained steadfast in seeking to provide year-round trail experiences. Whether x-country skiing, fat tire biking or snowshoeing in the winter or hiking and biking in the spring, summer and fall, it’s our goal to provide a world-class multi-use trail system. To maintain our operations, we rely heavily on the generosity of our community, business partners, and those who utilize the trails. Funds generated through our donation program are used to cover not only our daily operational expenses, but also make meaningful improvements. Examples of improvements made thus far include a newer Pisten Bully Groomer, two heated vault privies/ changing rooms, an AED and a rescue sled.
Our equipment and project needs are significant and we are seeking your help to transform the Rangeley Lakes Trails Center into a year-round, world-class recreational and environmental destination.
funds from our Donations Program Will
purchase equipment to maintain the trails year round, including nordic groomers
replace and upgrade nordic and single track bridges
regrade existing single track trails for easier grooming and summer biking
replace and reset culverts and maintain ditches
increase trail network signage and install more “You Are Here” maps at intersections
build new nordic trails and significantly increase the number of single track trails
transform many of our winter trails to summer “track in a trail” which is a smoother, bike and hike friendly path within the nordic trails
continue to improve lodge amenities
Your donations make a significant difference in covering our operational expenses, our ability to make continued improvements and deliver on our commitment to create positive trail experiences.
