Good morning! Groomers will be out around 9am this morning. We have cold packed powder on the groomers today and an inch or so of snow on recently groomed surfaces elsewhere. Looks like a nice bit of snow is headed our way tonight!! Cold temps are on the menu again today, layers will be best! Don’t forget a neck up to cover your nose and rosy cheeks! The Fat Bike Loppet has been postponed until next Sunday February 1 due to -10F forecast wind chills. Check Bikereg.com for details.

Hot drinks, hot soup, hand and toe warmers, hats and snacks can be purchased at the yurt, which is open from 9-4 every day this winter season! Keep an eye on Nordic Pulse for up to date trail conditions and information!

The11th annual Fat Bike Loppet has been rescheduled to Sunday February 1st due to the below zero temps and windchills. We are in the freezer this weekend! The Loppet course is a mixture of single track and nordic trails is always a fun event! Check Bikereg.com for details.

Snowshoes, fat bikes or skis are required on all trails. Please do not walk on the trails as boots create holes in the groomed surface that are difficult to groom out. Leashed dogs can get their exercise on Geneva Loop and all the single track trails including Lake Trail.

Check out our Gnome Home Roam-maps are located in the yurt and at the kiosks. Collecting stamps from each gnome home is a fun RLTC activity for all ages. Keep an eye out for animal tracks too! Interesting flora and fauna sightings can be added to our board in the Yurt.

Season memberships are on sale here or can be purchased in person at the Yurt. Ask us about the 10 Pass- a great option for the season!

Need a hat? This year, we partnered with Sauce out of Bozeman, Montana for our logo hats and neck warmers. Great gear for the trails! Youth, Infant/Toddler sizes in stock! And, Maddie of Maddie’s hats continues to knit beautiful hand made, custom hats for RLTC. A special treat!

Make sure to check out the rebuilt single track bridges Wounded Warrior and Boston Strong! Happy Trails :)

The Rangeley Lakes Trail Center remains steadfast in providing year-round trail experiences. It is our goal to provide a world class multi-use trail system for nordic skiing, fat biking, snowshoeing in the winter and hiking and biking in the spring, summer and fall. To maintain our operations, we rely heavily on the generosity of our community, business partners, and those who utilize the trails. Funds generated through our donation program are used to help cover not only our daily operational expenses, but also make meaningful improvements. Improvements made thus far include a newer Pisten Bully Groomer, two heated vault privies/ changing rooms, an AED and a rescue sled. Your donations make a significant difference in covering our operational expenses, our ability to make continued improvements and deliver on our commitment to create positive trail experiences. We greatly appreciate your support! To obtain more information regarding our donation program and to make a donation please click here!

We work hard to be good stewards of the land by preserving wildlife habitat, constructing erosion resistant trails, and encouraging old growth forests.

Nestled at the base of Saddleback Mountain in Maine’s western mountains, our Trails Center has something for everyone. Spring, summer and fall, hikers and bikers enjoy the rolling terrain and scenic vistas. And in the winter months, with over 200 inches of annual snowfall, skiers, snowshoers and fat tire bikers savor our meticulously groomed trails. We are building a world-class multi-use trails system, but we cannot achieve our goals alone. Find out how you can help.
